Instils – The Photography Club of NIIT University organized a Photo-walk to Agra for all interested members of the NU family. The group was really excited and enthusiastic about their visit to the City of Taj. They departed before daybreak and marked the beautiful Agra fort as their first stop. This historic and beautiful depiction of Mughal culture and architecture took the complete attention of the group and the experienced lenses they had with them. The walls of the fort were old, but they shone like gold in the Photographers’ camera.
The sun and the heat took the photographers with surprise at the fort but the group was determined to save their strength as well as their batteries for the main shining white attraction of India – The Taj Mahal.
Once they reached their destination – One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the group was greeted with long queues everywhere. Resolute, firm, they knew the white marbles would be worth the wait; and they were right. As they entered the complex, even the little glimpses of the mausoleum they could get with the arch shaped gate in between, were mesmerizing. As they got closer to the Taj, the group was completely awestruck with the marble giant. The timing was perfect – The Taj and the complimenting sunset.
Agra was welcoming, the trip was a success and a photographers’ delight. All credits go to the Club coordinator – Utkarsh Gupta who planned and executed the Trip successfully and the College management who were supportive of this venture.
